A One-Day Capri Island Guide

A relaxed day route from Naples Beverello to a private Capri boat tour, Anacapri, and Capri Town. Times can be adjusted around ferry tickets, weather, and island crowds.

    Take the ferry from Naples Beverello to Capri.

    Walk from Marina Grande to the private boat meeting point. If you booked a boat tour, arrive early and do not cut it too close.

    Have a quick bite around Marina Grande.

    Take the bus from Marina Grande to Anacapri. Get off at Piazza Vittoria.

    Take the Monte Solaro chairlift to the top. This stop is not about hiking; it is about the full island and coastline view from above.

    Villa San Michele This is not a large museum. It is a former home with gardens and beautiful views, best enjoyed slowly in the afternoon.

    Take a taxi from Anacapri to Capri Town. Sharing a taxi from the stand is usually more affordable, and buses can have long lines at this time.

    16:15 - 17:10

    Stroll through Capri Town, the Piazzetta, and Via Camerelle. If you still have energy, continue to the Gardens of Augustus.

    17:10 - 17:30

    Take the regular funicular from Capri Town down to Marina Grande. It works like public transport and can have a queue, so try not to start heading to the port later than 17:30.

    Take the ferry back to Naples Beverello.
